Bangkok Wagyu Double Smash: Bangkok Street Meets American Fire

We dropped the Bangkok Wagyu Double Smash Burger just over a week ago.
And it’s already moving like it’s been on the menu for years.
Here’s the thing—when people think “Thai food,” they think curry. Noodles. Maybe wings if they know what’s up. Not Smash Burger. But, what most people don’t know about Bangkok is that it’s one of the most dynamic food cities in the world. It’s not boxed in. It’s not traditional-only. It’s a collision of cultures. A melting pot of cuisines. Japanese. Chinese. Western. Street food. Fine dining. Smash burgers on late-night corners with lines down the block.
Bangkok isn’t stuck in tradition. It evolves. So we built a burger that does the same.
The Beef: No Shortcuts. No Compromises.
We went straight to Snake River Farms for their American Wagyu Beef. Because if we’re doing a smash burger, we’re doing it right.
This isn’t your average, standard basic ground beef.
This is deeply marbled, luxuriously rich, buttery Wagyu that renders into crispy, lacey edges when it hits the flat top. When we smash it hard, that fat melts down into the crust. You get that caramelized, crackly sear on the outside… and a juicy, almost silky bite in the middle.
It’s aggressive. It’s indulgent. It’s loud.
TWO 4-ounce smashed patties. Because one isn’t enough.

Why Laab?
Now here’s where it gets Bangkok. We season the beef with Thai Laab seasoning.
If you’ve never had laab before, you’re missing out. Laab (sometimes spelled larb) is one of Thailand’s most iconic dishes. Traditionally made with minced meat, herbs, lime juice, fish sauce, and toasted rice powder, it’s bright, savory, citrusy, and just a little funky in the best way possible.
It’s not sweet.
It’s not heavy.
It’s sharp. Zesty. Alive.
The toasted rice powder adds a subtle nuttiness and texture. The lime brings acid. The fish sauce adds that deep umami backbone. Herbs like cilantro and green onion keep it fresh and punchy.
Now imagine that flavor infused into premium Wagyu beef on a smash burger.
That’s the twist.
That’s the moment.
It cuts through the richness of the Wagyu, making every bite balanced rather than overwhelming. You get fat. You get salt. You get acid. You get crunch.
The Build
Top-tier American cheese melts right into the patties. Not fancy for the sake of being fancy. Just perfect melt. Perfect pull. Perfect texture
Fresh red onions for bite.
Crispy onions for crunch.
All stacked and smashed between buttery brioche buns that hold everything together without getting in the way.
Every ingredient earns its spot. This is the perfect Smash Burger, the Bangkok way.
And yes—Zabb! Fries on the side. Because we don’t do boring sides.

Why It’s Hitting So Hard
People didn’t expect a smash burger to go this crazy at a Thai restaurant.
That’s exactly why it works.
The Bangkok Wagyu Double Smash is what happens when Thai street flavor meets American burger culture, and neither backs down.
It’s familiar enough to crave.
Different enough to remember.
Bold enough to talk about.
We built it for the ones who think Thai food has limits.
It doesn’t.
And neither do we.
Come hungry.
This one is best served in-house, but takeout and delivery are available
